TREATMENT
After a thorough assessment, and marking of the area to be treated, a small amount of the fat dissolving drug Aqualyx is injected in combination with local anaesthetic with precision into the target areas, usually using a cannula (a blunt ended tube for increased comfort and patient safety). Usually, facial treatments need 1-2 treatment sessions, however body areas may need 3-4 treatment sittings for maximal effect.

We also offer a review 4 weeks after the initial treatment, when we’ll discuss the results and likely carry out a second treatment.
Post treatment guidelines
Post-treatment
As well as keeping the treated area clean for the first 24 hours, you need to expect post treatment swelling and itching - this is totally normal and to be expected for the first week, so this is not a treatment to have the day before a busy social occasion. To reduce the swelling and any discomfort, ice packs can be of use, and compression leggings / pants can be a useful addition to your wardrobe for the first week after treatment.
